Solar One is Bahrain’s first and only PV module manufacturer. Established in 2016, the company operates a fully-automated production line with a 20 MW annual capacity. The production line offers a diverse range of module types, and houses international-standard production and quality control facilities. We pride ourselves on being made in Bahrain, by Bahrainis.

Our principles are simple: quality products and an unwavering dedication to providing the best possible experience for our clients and partners. Our team is made up of a diverse mix of engineers, designers and on-site installers who share these principles and

In 2017, Solar One began undertaking full turnkey PV projects, offering site surveys, design, consultation, installation, commissioning, and operation services for clients in all sectors, including government ministries, commercial, industrial, and residential. In that same year, the compny won Bahrain’s Start Up of the Year Award under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

As of Early 2020, Solar One’s portfolio consists of over half a Mega Watt in commissioned projects in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. The focus of the company remains on the manufacturing of world-class products paired with unparalleled after-sales service. Our proximity to the client base in the market gives the company advantages in delivery times, order limits, payment terms, and after-sales service.

Solar One sees it as a duty to spread awareness and educate the public on the benefits of renewable energy. As such, we have worked closely with private and public schools, universities, and technical institutions on comprehensive training and hands-on educational schemes to foster professional skills in an industry that is relatively new to the Kingdom.

Solar One aims to pioneer Bahrain’s push towards renewable and sustainable energy, and has worked to achieve this vision by forming strong partnerships with local contractors and consultants, while maintaining healthy relationships with various government ministries. Our training schemes extend to contractors with little to no experience in the solar industry, where we boast a proven record in helping companies install and commission projects as a way to boost their standing within EWA’s contractor grading system.
